What Will Jesus Do When He Comes Back?

The return of Jesus Christ is not a distant myth but a divine promise. He will not come in secret, nor will He come in weakness as He did in Bethlehem. When Jesus returns, He will come in power and glory, and every eye shall see Him. “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” (Revelation 1:7).
Many live as if Christ will never return, yet His coming is sure. He will come to judge the living and the dead. Those who have rejected Him will cry out in terror, but those who have loved Him will rejoice. Which side will you be on? Today is the day of salvation. Do not wait until it is too late. “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” (1 Thessalonians 5:2).
Jesus will gather His people. The faithful, those who have endured in righteousness, will be taken to be with Him forever. “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” (Matthew 13:43). Are you prepared for His coming? Have you repented of your sins and accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? There is no second chance after He returns.
He will establish His kingdom. The wickedness of this world will be destroyed, and Christ will reign in righteousness. No more pain, no more tears, no more sin. He will make all things new. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Revelation 21:4).
This is not just a message to read and move on. It is a call to action. Jesus is coming soon! Are you ready? Will you meet Him with joy or with fear? Do not delay—turn to Him now. Confess your sins, believe in His name, and walk in obedience. He loves you, and He is calling you to Himself today.
Will you be among those who rejoice at His return? Or will you be among those who cry out in regret? The choice is yours. “Choose you this day whom ye will serve.” (Joshua 24:15). Jesus is coming—be ready!
